XRAY

You should expect to wear loose clothing and may be asked to remove objects as jewelry and hairpins. You may also be asked to change into a gown depending on what part of your body is being imaged. The amount of radiation in an X-ray is too small to cause harm. Please inform your doctor and technologist if you are or may be pregnant.  Your image will be sent directly to the health care professional listed on your  requisition.

Walk-in X-Ray Service available.

EKG

Typically this test is done if you are experiencing arrhythmia, chest pain or palpitations and an abnormal ECG result can be a signal of a number of different heart conditions. You may be asked to remove your jewelry and asked to take your top off and be given a gown to change into. You will be asked to lie down on a table and parts of your arms, legs and chest may be cleaned/shaved. You will be lying down throughout the test and breathing normally. Do not talk during the test. Your EKG results will be sent directly to the health care professional listed on your requisition.
