XRAY
An X-ray is a painless test used to detect fractures, arthritis, scoliosis, tumours, osteoporosis, fluid in lungs, and infections. A licensed technologist will perform this test.
EKG
An electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) is a test that checks how your heart is functioning by measuring the electrical activity of the heart. A clinician is able to use the information from an EKG to determine if the electrical activity is normal or irregular.
SPIROMETRY
Spirometry is a test used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale. Spirometry is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other conditions that affect breathing.
